Hot Air Ballooning Packages
We offer 2 packages which includes the Safari Flight and Safari Game Flight. All our flights are for shared baskets. We need a minimum of 4 people to confirm a flight. We do try and match you up with other groups. We can accommodate 12 people on short notice. The highest of safety standards are applied to Drakensberg Ballooning aviation.

The cost is from R3200 per adult or from R1750 per child (between children ages 5 & 11 not weighing more than 35kg- weighed on site) this includes a 45-60min flight, sparkling wine, and a delicious farmhouse breakfast. We launch from Glen Gray Farm- Drakensberg Ballooning’s original launch site. Hover over the farmlands, dams, and plantations with the majestic Drakensberg in the background.

The cost is from R4000 per adult or from R3000 per child (between children ages 5 & 11 not weighing more than 35kg- weighed on site), this includes a 45-60min flight, champagne, and farmhouse breakfast or picnic basket. The type of breakfast is determined by weather conditions. We launch from a private game farm about 5 km from the original launch site. Wild animals you might spot are Giraffe, Kudu, Zebra, Wildebeest, and many others.
